Chào Hello Bonjour

Vinh is an illustrator and an architect working in illustration, writing, graphic and architectural design. He has lived and traveled in France, Vietnam, and Cambodia. Architect by formation, his way of drawing is initially influenced by an analytical way of looking at things for many years. This approach has gradually shifted to a more "naive" way of drawing​, abandoning construction for perception. This was where he started to be particularly attracted by the expressions of shadow in our daily visual culture. Shade in itself has become a material of Vinh's drawings.

He believes in a transversal substance of creativity in-between disciplines, a sort of linguistic creative substance. In this sense, a creative composition is the expression of a personal language, embedded of an artist's individual self and his cultural circumstances. These remarks have urged his investigations that are organized in his début "Poetic Significance, Sài Gòn Mid-Century Modernist Architecture"
