Shade. The invisible visible. We tend to focus our attention on the shown. Our gaze seeks manifest forms and clarity. But all of this would never have been perceptible without its anti-matter, the unlightened, the shadow. Vinh's drawings explore and express this negative.​ He explores another dimension in our daily visual perception, a background conscience upon which the brain fills in the rest on its own.
